Small World is all that can describe this wedding for me. Jasmine contacted me through our church media website to do makeup for her big day. I know you probably are thinking, that’s not that small of a world…but there 4 different campuses and many thousands of people that attend our church. Jasmine knew she wanted airbrush. Which was perfect for her flawless skin. I show up to the trial and we joke for a while about how we have mutual friends and actually go to the same campus often for church, then she tells me who is photographing her wedding…The lovely Stephanie Brunner at Red Kite Photo. I love Stephanie’s work and have been blessed to work with her on a few weddings this past season. My husband has played music with Jasmine’s brother before, and the world gets smaller. I love when I end up becoming friends with my brides after their trial/wedding. It makes the whole experience so special. I may of shed a tear on her actual wedding day, after Jasmine was all ready and was getting in her dress.
Jasmine’s look was so fun to create. We knew airbrush was a must, and had a start to an eye look…but after 2 trials and we perfected her vintage inspired golden smokey eye. I loved that she wanted to rock a cat eye with a sassy lip!
Congratulations to Jasmine and Topher!

This was a fun styled shoot to be a part of. Thanks to miss Charity over at

I showed you a fun lil sneak peak a couple days ago. Now that the rest of the images are up on Charity’s site, I thought I would share them with you all as well. This shoot is going to be featured on a couple other fun sites as well. The couple is truly in love, which always makes it great for photos. Cara, is a sophomore in college, and a love to work with. We wanted to keep her sweet innocent face clean, and natural. Fun pops of pink on the cheek and lips. Neutral eye, with a bit a shimmer.
Thanks Charity for having me work on this shoot!
Brit is one of my dearest friends. Her bridal party, all have a special place in my heart. Brit and I met in college at a small group church retreat in 07′ and have been friends ever since. Funny enough we met Matt, her husband that day also! But it wasn’t til years later did the two start dating! The maid of honor is my my sister, Erica! Also, my best friend, Karen was in the wedding. Naturally, I was SO excited when Brit asked me to be apart of her special day! It was an honor to do hair and makeup for the mothers and party and Brit! It was a long day! My sweet husband drove myself and 2.5 year old daughter out to CA the night before the wedding because I had to be in AZ for a bride the day before. We made it to CA at 3 am, Saturday night. I started working the Sunday morning at 9am! It was a long day, literally non stop til touch ups at 4 o’clock before Brit walked down the beach to her groom, Matt. Brit is an amazing designer. She is who recently re vamped the Mariana Marie logos and is currently building my custom site and blog! So excited that she is apart of that for me. Her God given talent will show through in her labor of love in the site. Enough Jabbering, here is a lil eye candy for you!
Major Thanks to the wonderful Stephanie Fay Photography, for the photos!
If you haven’t checked out Stephanie’s work, please click on the link and do so. She is so talented!
Thank you to the The Sunset Restaurant in Malibu- and the Westlake Village Inn.
And to Randi Eshelman for the planning and floral at the wedding. It went off with out a hitch!
Brit had two hair looks, one for the ceremony, a fun beachy natural look. For her reception we pulled it up and she got ready to dance. It was a lovely side sweep pony with diamond pins to match the rest of her bling!
For makeup we kept it beachy, airy, and clean. A light smoke to her eyes but really kept it bright and opened her eye up! Natural lip color with a touch of gloss. (not too much, you never want the groom wearing the brides lip color after that first kiss!)
Thank you, Brit and Matt for letting me be such a lovely and special part of your wedding day! God Bless your marriage and many happy years!
Sweet couple, Sweet Makeup, Sweet Hair, Creative Style.

Stephanie and James were such a fun couple to work with. They both have such great personalities and were so easy to work with. For Stephanie’s look, we wanted a dramatic eye and clean face. Everything we used product wise, was Gluten Free! Stephanie is highly allergic! The whole wedding was actually GF! Check out her wedding coordinator, Angela Saban Designs, for more info on Stephanie’s GF wedding! Her lovely photographer, Diana Elizabeth, was so great to share the lovely photos with us.
